Privacy Policy
Version 1.1 — Effective September 3, 2026
1. What stays on your device and what syncs
Recording and transcription happen on your device. If you turn on sync, Auldera sends the meeting details, transcript, summary, action items, projects, and tags to the destination Auldera shows you. Sync does not normally upload the audio.
2. What we store about your account
Auldera stores your account ID, any name or email you share, which Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted and when, your account state, your device details, whether sync is on, and a limited history of security events. Signing in on the web sets a secure, HTTP-only cookie and a server-side sign-in that lasts seven days.
3. Storage, keeping, and deleting
Synced meetings are readable by our servers and are encrypted at rest by Google. Turning sync off keeps what is already synced. Deleting one synced meeting leaves a marker until you delete your account. Deleting your synced data removes all of it, markers included, and leaves your devices untouched; turning sync back on can upload them again. Deleting your account ends access right away and starts the cleanup. We aim to finish within 24 hours, and if cleanup is still running we are alerted and keep retrying.
4. Crash and diagnostic data
Auldera uses Sentry to find errors and performance problems. That data can include an account ID, which build and environment you are on, whether it came from the browser or the server, the page you were on, stack traces, module versions, and a masked replay of the page after an error. It is not meant to include your name, email, meeting content, audio, passwords, request bodies, or meeting IDs. It is kept no longer than 90 days.
5. Who else is involved
Apple handles sign-in. Google handles accounts, sessions, and synced meeting storage. Sentry handles diagnostics. Alpine Intelligence uses these services only for what is described here and does not sell your data.
6. Google sign-in and connected calendars
If you connect Google Calendar, Auldera uses it to correlate meeting schedule metadata with recordings. Auldera never sells Google user data, transfers no calendar data to third-party advertising or analytics platforms, and never uses it to train generalized artificial intelligence models. Synced meeting titles are readable by our servers and are encrypted at rest by Google.
7. What you control, and support
Your account page shows your devices, your sessions, your sync setting, and the controls for deleting your synced data or your account. Contact support@auldera.com with your Account ID for help. Don’t send recordings, transcripts, passwords, or sign-in tokens.
